NDA Exam Pattern 2018: Subject-wise distribution of marks
NDA 2018 Paper Pattern

Mode of Examination Offline; Candidates will have to write the paper on their own. In no circumstances, UPSC will allow a scribe to attempt the exam for them.
Type of Questions The exam will consist multiple choice questions in both the exams. Candidates will have to choose the correct options from the given choices.
Number of Papers Paper -I (Mathematics)
Paper-II (General Ability Test)
Codes of Papers Mathematics (01)
General Ability Test (02)
Marks Per Sections The Mathematics section will comprise of questions of 300 marks while General Ability Test will comprise of 600 marks.
Language of the Paper The Paper will be of both Hindi and English Language
Negative Marking There will be negative marking for incorrect response
NDA Exam Pattern
As per the paper pattern of NDA, the exam consists of written exam and SSB tests. The written exam of NDA will consists of Mathematics and General Ability Test.

SSB Tests
Candidates shortlisted in written examination will be called for SSB tests. The test is conducted for five days. The stages of SSB Tests includes screening test, psychological test, GTO, Personal Interview and Conference. Candidates need to qualify in all stages by securing minimum qualifying marks.
